Description Josselin Mouette 2007-11-28 00:26:20 UTC
[ forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/448050 by Johannes Berg ]

I just had gnome-power-manager shut down my machine after swapping
the battery. Sequence of events:

 (1) g-p-m warns 'battery low'
 (2) I suspend
 (3) I swap battery, the new one is full
 (4) I resume
 (5) g-p-m warns 'battery critical'
 (6) I check, battery displays 98% in g-p-m applet
 (7) g-p-m shuts down machine

Luckily I wasn't doing anything but reading a document at the time.

Should be fixed in the kernel now.
