GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 499411
Epiphany autoscrolls wrongly when searching files in huge lists with links when trying to click on them
Last modified: 2007-11-26 14:28:25 UTC
Please describe the problem: This doesn't accur always, but it's usually that, when a visit a site with a lot of links like: ftp://ftp.free.fr/pub/Distributions_Linux/Fedora/development/source/SRPMS Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to ftp://ftp.free.fr/pub/Distributions_Linux/Fedora/development/source/SRPMS 2. Search "zenity..." and click on it (it will work as expected) -> cancel download 3. Search "gnome-terminal..." and click on it Actual results: Page will be scroll down to zenity again preventing me to download the file at first try Expected results: This scroll shouldn't occur Does this happen every time? Mostly of times. I have waited a lot before sending this bug, that I have noticed since epiphany-2.16 (when I started to use this browser), I have upgraded to gnome-2.18 and now to gnome-2.20 (with its epiphany newer versions) and I still suffer this problem, even with a new created user account Other information: Thanks a lot
I get this behavior as well. This also occassionally happens when the page is large enough to have a horizontal scroll bar and I start to scroll the page horizontally with the search box open. Maybe this is a seperate bug, but it seems related.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed.
