Description Johannes Schmid 2007-11-22 19:08:49 UTC
Usually the mail application run in the background for my whole session and is set to check for mail every 10 minutes. The problem is that sometimes the mail server can't be reached (because it is down, whatsoever). Everytime Evolution opens a dialog telling me that it could not ping the IMAP server AND sets the window hint to urgent!

OK, this dialog might be interesting but wouldn't it be enough to just tell me in the status bar that mail could not be received this time. This is the background mail check and I would really like to leave it in the background.
