Description Glauco Hass 2007-11-19 03:52:28 UTC
The Open File Dialog should have an option to see a list of images as thumbnails. If I choose to send some file through Pidgin or aMSN, I must open a nautilus window, search for the file to get his name and then pick the file in dialog.
This feature will be great if the selected folder contains a thousand of pictures with no intuitive file names (i.e. numbered named files downloaded from a digital camera).
Gimp uses an Open File Dialog with thumbnail, but it only show the preview of one image. A folder with thousands of images will be a pain to find the one you are looking for.

I could be wrong but i think this has to be made in GTK [1] and not in Nautilus?

I vote for this feature too. And indeed it belongs to the GTK file chooser.

Thanks, reassigning.
