Francois, what software were you using ? Looking at the url, it might just be that you don't have the required gstreamer plugins for decoding that stream.

Try installing gst-ffmpeg and gst-plugins-ugly packages for your distribution.

This is (among other things) a bug in autoaudiosink, fixed in -good CVS.

There's probably something wrong with your distro's alsa setup (e.g. no "default" device configured), or with your sound preferences.  Go to System => Sound and try to change the setting.
