Description Matteo Settenvini 2007-11-12 10:24:18 UTC
I keep a huge archive of mail for text-search purposes over the years, and it started growing impossibly big.

Having the possibility of removing all or some attachments from a message would keep my archive at a reasonable size, and allow me to have faster searches too. I believe a lot of users would want this. If someone mentors me, I'm willing to write this patch myself (never contributed to evo codebase before, I see this a bit as a daunting task).

E.g. http://www.manucornet.net/blog/?p=47

Mozilla Thunderbird has this feature, if I'm not mistaken.

could perhaps be implemented as an eplugin, see go-evolution.org for more information.
