Description Alexey Rusakov 2007-11-07 12:04:21 UTC
Please describe the problem:
This happened after upgrade from GNOME 2.18 to GNOME 2.20. I use a window list on a vertical panel, with windows grouping set to the second option (when there's not enough space). So, the applet seems to have no certain opinion on whether to group windows. When I open about 10 windows of Galeon, the applet tries to group them, but as I change the focus, or a window caption changes (e.g., the page loads), the applet suddenly changes his mind and ungroups the windows back. After the next similar event, the applet again groups windows, and so on.
Actually, the first problem is that the applet starts to group windows too early (I have enough space on the pane l to fit 20 to 30 windows). I believe that the size of the whole window list is counted incorrectly, which leads to all kinds of weird behavior described above.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Does this happen every time?
