Description Bernd Fuhrmann 2007-11-01 19:19:14 UTC
Gimp should have the ability to handle efficiently large amounts of e.g. brushes. Currently it seems to put them in a not so well thought order into the brush selection windows. I guess it would be good to have some hierarchy in there and/or some sorting mechanism.

IMHO a directory-like structure would be good. That would enable people to have vast amounts of brushes at their disposal without clotting the interface.

Maybe subdirectories for the brushes directories would be possible...

Just a thought, while testing fine new Gimp 2.4
