Steps to reproduce:
1. open gthumb on some picture in some directory
2. move to the parent directory in gthumb
3. select the child directory and "move to trash" in the contextual menu

I don't really understand why we have to g_strdup (priv->image->path). Why is priv->image->path vanishing?

Christophe, can you confirm that this fixes your crashes?
