Evolution Mail: I was fascinated by the ...
Last modified: 2008-06-25 05:23:53 UTC
I was fascinated by the idea of the Evolution weather calendars and very disappointed, when I discovered those are only available for the US. So I looked for a solution and found this site http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/10156.html, on which there is an ICAL link for a corresponding calendar. So in the "Create New calendar" dialog I chose a web calendar and entered the following in the field URL (I replaced webcal://): http://www.wunderground.com/auto/ical/global/stations/10156.ics?units=metric Evolution didn't show the calendar but disabled my tasks and all other calendars. Eventually, I couldn't delete the calendar any more. The only thing that helped was to remove it from the cache dir in ~/.evolution and from ~/.gconf. After that I rebooted the computer since restarting evolution and logging off an on didn't work. (The calendar still appeared.) Is there any way to include this web-based ics-calendar and have it automatically updated? Thanks! /Christian Distribution: Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) Gnome Release: 2.20.0 2007-09-17 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.1
