Description Pau 2007-10-21 22:18:12 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I've tried to change the background color when login into a session. I've chosen a personal color (for example, blue), but when I starts a new session, background color have not been changed. I'm on Ubuntu Gutsy, I don't know if this is a ubuntu or gnome desktop bug.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to system->administration->Window login->Local
2. Change the background color
3. Start new session

Actual results:
The color has not been changed.

Expected results:
--

Does this happen every time?
Yes

This looks like either a gdm bug or a ubuntu bug. Trying gdm.

Could you see if this bug is the same as bug 438939?
Comment 3 Pau 2007-11-28 16:49:11 UTC
Hi Brian. Yes, it seems to be the same as that bug.
Comment 4 Brian Cameron 2007-11-28 16:59:41 UTC
Great. If you want to help provide a patch to fix the issue, I'd apply a patch upstream. I think I explained in the other bug how to go about providing a patch that would be acceptable.
