Description Jonathon Jongsma 2007-10-21 13:25:38 UTC
The new 'Search' and 'Recently Used' options in the sidebar of the file chooser are really nice, but when they're selected, the location bar along the top of the chooser disappears, which makes the user interface jump around. This is really quite disorienting. For example, if I click on 'Recently Used', I would expect my house to still be above the 'Recently Used' item after clicking, but it's actually above the item that represents my home folder. In fact, if I place the mouse on top of the 'recently used' item and click, and then continue clicking without moving the mouse, it will alternate between 'recently used' and 'home'. This is quite surprising and makes it feel somewhat unpolished.
