Description Guillaume Tissier 2007-10-21 10:48:55 UTC
Hard to explain simply what I'm thinking, let's try :
When nautilus is in list view, I can develop folders clicking on the arrow on left. If the folder is at the bottom on the window, I must scroll to view its content.
It'll be a nice enhancement if nautilus do auto-centering of its view to this folder, like for example Windows do with the tree of explorer

Sounds like a good idea to me. Renaming for clarity. This is a usability issue.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use.

By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME.
Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
