Description Savvas Radević 2007-10-12 21:56:07 UTC
Love the 2.20 so far on Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 Release Candidate!
A small addition would make the desktop even more adorable for screenshots: add a menu item to show and hide the desktop icons, and I mean *all* the currently visible icons/items on the Desktop.

The thing is that the icons are sometimes personal and by hiding them through an easy procedure (right click on Desktop and by selecting a menu item named.. let's say "Toggle Icons Show/Hide"), it will enable to those who want to make a quick screenshot and share their Gnome desktop experience with others.

We hide the desktop by default now in GNOME 3, so this is not relevant anymore.
