Please describe the problem:
i use 3dsmax 8,and there is a plugin to export vector path lines to a psd format.

first i tried to open it in photoshop and the path shows.

then i opened the file in Gimp and it opens ,but there isnt any path in paths dialog .

i asked in many forums but no body answered me.

Steps to reproduce:
1. export a vector path from 3dsmax 8 to psd format
2. open it in gimp
3. psd opens in gimp but the vector path is not showing in paths dialog , 
but it shows in photoshop

Other information:
maybe there is a program to convert psd paths to svg format

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

As a workaround you can export to an other format that GIMP can read path information from.
