Hi,

When one disables a search engine in Firefox, it's still listed in Deskbar.

I guess this is because the mozilla handler only parses searchplugins dirs (including system ones) but does not parse the search engine preferences in the profile.  I think these are sqllite based and in the search.sqlite file under the firefox profile dir.
