Description Hideki Yamane 2007-09-30 10:39:36 UTC
1. Login KDE session
2. Logoff
3. Login Gnome session and there are KDE and Gnome system icons in Desktop.
Same "trash" name icons are there.

So, users may be confused by this situation.
I think KDE system icons should be hidden by default.

can you create a new user, please, then log the user into KDE.

In a terminal, change to the user's Desktop folder and do

user> ls -la >KDE.txt

Log out, log this user into Gnome and repeat

user> ls -la>Gnome.txt

please attach the resulting files here.

Can you actually use both trashes?

 No.
One can be emptied (above one), but another cannot do so.

Christian, what are we going to do with this one?
Comment 5 A. Walton 2008-07-28 08:43:15 UTC
We already have a decision on this, it's not our bug per discussion at Redhat's BZ. Bug 343481 for more information.
