GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 47825
New directory slowness less problematic if there was feedback
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
I think Nautilus' current slowness in opening a new window would be less problematic if the application gave feedback when a double-click succeeds. For example, Konqueror has a little animation it displays on the icon you double clicked when one succeeds. The problem is that its relatively easy to miss double clicks, and Nautilus takes several seconds to change anything on the screen, so the user is left wondering if they actually managed to click. ------- Additional Comments From arlo@workthatmouse.com 2001-04-10 01:32:11 ---- Someday. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 21:31 -------
