What were you doing when the application crashed? just scanning folders from my mail server and clicking some folders (local and remote) to read messages in it Distribution: Debian lenny/sid Gnome Release: 2.18.3 2007-07-03 (Debian) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.1 System: Linux 2.6.21-2-686 #1 SMP Wed Jul 11 03:53:02 UTC 2007 i686 X Vendor: The X.Org Foundation X Vendor Release: 10300000 Selinux: No Accessibility: Disabled GTK+ Theme: Clearlooks Icon Theme: gnome Memory status: size: 223068160 vsize: 223068160 resident: 94941184 share: 25239552 rss: 94941184 rss_rlim: 4294967295 CPU usage: start_time: 1189264569 rtime: 8716 utime: 8076 stime: 640 cutime:3 cstime: 11 timeout: 0 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 100 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution-2.10' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Could you please install some debugging packages [1], start the application as normal, and reproduce the crash, if possible? Once bug-buddy pops up, you can find the stacktrace in the Details, now containing way more information. Please copy that stacktrace and paste it as a comment here. Thanks in advance! [1] debugging packages for evolution, evolution-data-server, gtkhtml, gtk, glib, gnome-vfs, pango, libgnome and libgnomeui (as far as those packages are provided by your distribution). More details can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces
Hi, Andre. I installed some debugging packages and tried to reproduce the crash. Probably the same crash happened again(I'm not sure). To reproduce this crash, I just keep pressing down arrow key for a while and click other folder icons sevral time. Here is the stacktrace bug-buddy reported. I wish this helps you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Distribution: Debian lenny/sid Gnome Release: 2.18.3 2007-07-03 (Debian) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.1 System: Linux 2.6.21-2-686 #1 SMP Wed Jul 11 03:53:02 UTC 2007 i686 X Vendor: The X.Org Foundation X Vendor Release: 10300000 Selinux: No Accessibility: Disabled GTK+ Theme: Clearlooks Icon Theme: gnome Memory status: size: 212938752 vsize: 212938752 resident: 105938944 share: 21561344 rss: 105938944 rss_rlim: 4294967295 CPU usage: start_time: 1189615264 rtime: 14750 utime: 13786 stime: 964 cutime:3 cstime: 11 timeout: 0 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 100 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution-2.10' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".
