This problem also occurs in openSUSE 10.3 Beta 3, which is using nautilus-2.19.91.
Comment 2 Boyd Timothy 2007-09-06 22:12:57 UTC
I've set this up in a debugger and the following method is never called when you right-click and select "Create Document -> Empty File":

action_new_empty_file_callback (fm-directory-view.c:1412)

Strange also that document templates don't seem to work either.

1. Create ~/Templates/Testing.doc
2. Right-click in nautilus, select "Create Document -> Testing"

Nothing happens.

I can confirm the bug using the same version.
Comment 5 Peter Sääf 2007-09-07 15:58:01 UTC
This is probably a dupe of bug #449371

I can confirm this is a duplicate of bug #449371. Essentially, submenus activated from a context menu with a left mouse button are not working.
