Programs applet does not update it's menu when new apps are installed.\

To reproduce:
1. Start gimmie applet
2. Install a new application
3. Check for application in Programs tab

Expected Result:
Newly installed application will be ready for use

Actual Result:
Application is not there.

JP, this behavior occurs, because automatically updating menus were disabled due to bug 419271.

So that should be the place were the discussion continues, agree?
