Description Magnus Therning 2007-09-03 22:15:04 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When "highlight pointer when you press Ctrl" is enabled it's not possible to select multiple files using Ctrl+LeftMouse.

(Shift+LeftMouse does still work though.)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable highlighting of the pointer: System->Preferences->Mouse, second tab "Pointers".
2. Bring up Meld and do a dirdiff
3. Try selecting several files using Ctrl+LeftMouse; doesn't work
4. Disable the highlighting of the pointer
5. Select several files; now it works again

Actual results:
Described above.

Expected results:
Ctrl+LeftMouse should _always_ work, i.e. step 3 should have the same result as step 5

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Minimal testing suggests this issue is unique to Meld, but it might very well be a more widespread issue.

This seems to be a bug in the "Locate pointer" functionality itself, and there are several duplicates across different apps.
