Dear GIMP developers

I would like to suggest the MDI format as an alternative to SDI format in future GIMP/GTK versions. I'm a GIMP user for some years and for me, working with MDI format would be more productive, because it allows a cleaner interface, facilitating my work as designer.

Definitely not related to gtk-engines. Though not sure if this should go into HIG, GIMP or maybe even GTK+.

I'll move the bug to GIMP.
