Description Chus 2007-08-09 11:18:30 UTC
Please describe the problem:
xmlCopyPropInternal, used by functions like xmlCopyNode don`t handle the atype. When you obtain the atrrtibutte copy, atype is equal to 0

Steps to reproduce:
1. load a tree
2. select any node and dump attributes (including atype)
3. make a copy of the node with attributes using xmlCopyNode
4. make a dump of attributes (including atype)

Actual results:
step 2: watch atype values
step 3: watch 0 value

Expected results:
step 2: watch atype values
step 3: watch atype values

Does this happen every time?
yea

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxml2/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
