Description Snark 2007-07-29 16:04:17 UTC
It uses deprecated api, namely : raw1394_start_iso_rcv, raw1394_stop_iso_rcv and raw1394_set_iso_handler.

Building the DC IEEE 1394 plugin in ptlib is and will be broken in debian. Opal depends on libavcodec-dev, which depends, since a few days, on v2 of dc ieee1394 library (libdc1394-22-dev). But ptlib does not work with v2 of dc. So for the moment the dc ptlib package is empty (no plugin inside).

This bug isn't about the DC plugin but the AVC one :-)

Ok, I fill another bug!
Comment 4 Snark 2008-09-22 18:56:21 UTC
I committed a gstreamer video input system to ekiga in my post3 branch, which supports AVC.
