Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. The problem was revealed after a clean distro installation. After obtain no system sound I tried the check button in Preferences-> Sound in order to test the behaviour. When the selected hardware in not the correct one I obtain the error. After I selected the correct hardware and reboot system the sound is working properly. I think thereis no a bug. The problem is that gui is not managing the error output produced by the check action. Thanks for the reply. Do you need some additional info?
