eog crashes when using save as and not entering a filename extension

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open an image file with eog 2. Go to File > Save As 3. Type in a name without an extension, e.g., "screenshot" Stack trace: Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".
