Description David Trice 2007-07-12 17:16:44 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. By starting GnuCash on my PC.
2.
3.

Stack trace:
I'm sorry I am running this on Windows.

Other information:
When I run the programme I get an error message "Gconfd-2.ex - Entry point not found" with a more detailed message that "The procedure entry point g_assert_warning could not be located in the dynamic link library libglib-2.0-0.dll"

The programme then stops.

I had a bit of a poke around and because I assumed it had something to do with a previous version of Glade that I had installed but removed. Turns out an old version of the DLL mentioned sat in my c:\windows\system32 directory and was being selected as a priority over the copy to Gnucash. Once I deleted this other dll (which I know I don't need for anything else) it ran fine. Had a couple more conflicts too, but it's working OK now.

Would be best if Gnucash always selected the local DLL though to avoid such conflicts.
