I was ripping a track with ':' in the name (just the colon, not the quotes).
This track causes sound-juicer to crash with an error that's something like "Couldn't run the pipe, couldn't open the file name BLAH".
BLAH is the filename it should be extracting, where it looks like the colon and more text have been changed into something else.

Debian testing, with some components from Unstable.
