GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 451229
JACK input ports for recording
Last modified: 2007-06-26 13:13:41 UTC
I would very much like Istanbul to have a pair of JACK input ports for recording audio. This would make it possible to create cool demos of softsynths and other music and audio software on Linux (which almost always uses JACK). It may be possible today too, but it would involve messing around with non-standard ALSA plugins or, in worst case, a hardware wire from the soundcard's line out to line in. If Istanbul had JACK support it would Just Work.
Would love this too, once the bug I'm suping this gets fixed it'll automatically be possible to use in Istannbul by setting the gconf key for audio recording. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 352356 ***
