Description Reid Thompson 2007-06-15 18:38:39 UTC
Please describe the problem:
At revision 33680.
Filters are not being applied to incoming mail from MS exchange for while. So I've been manually running the filters via CTRL-Y. With update to rev 33689, manual invocation results in an error dialog containing the following message

Error while Filtering Selected Messages.

No provider available for protocol `email'

Steps to reproduce:
1. build revision 33680
2. configure an Evolution Exchange connection
3. configure filters for the Exchange inbox
4. note that filters are not being applied to incoming mail to Exchange inbox
5. select emails, use CTRL-Y to call filters, note error dialog

Actual results:
see above

Expected results:
would expect filter to be applied automatically incoming mail to exchange inbox && would expect manual invocation to work also

Does this happen every time?
yes

isn't this a duplicate of bug 444503?
Comment 3 Reid Thompson 2007-06-16 00:46:13 UTC
I think 1/2 probably - CTRL-Y was still working with regard to bug 444503.
I hadn't considered with bug 444503 that it might be solely related to being an Exchange inbox. Combining the two would be fine with me.

Revision: 33704

As of revision above.

Removal and re-declaration of all message filters appears to have remedied the issue with <CTRL>-y failing and generating a pop-up. CTRL-y is now working.

Filters still do not appear to be being applied to incoming mail - Exchange account.
