Last modified: 2008-03-24 01:35:47 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. It just seems to crash spontaneously. I am not running calendar explicitly, but I do have recurring appointments set. 2. 3. Hi, I guess this is a dup of bug 364700 (which is supposed to be fixed), but I'm not quite sure about that. Could you please install debug symbols for evolution and friends and try with a later version of evolution? TIA
I am running the latest version of evolution available for CentOS 5. It is 2.8.0. How do I add debugging symbols? I did not build evolution.
Hi Mark, thanks for your reply :) Hm. I have no idea about CentOS, but on debian based systems, there are evolution-dbg packages (or evolution-debug, you get the idea). Please refer to your distributions manual on how to install binary packages with debug symbols included. If you made it, please install debug-packages for evolution, evolution-data-server, gtkhtml, glib and ORBit. Please note, that evolution 2.8.0 is rather old and, according to comment #1, this issue might have been fixed in later versions.
