Description shirish agarwal 2007-06-10 18:11:36 UTC
Hi there,
.iso packages are data packages, I like to burn them at lower speeds. There should be a preference where one could associate speeds with mime types (sort of automation) . So .iso packages are written at let's say 8x each time. Dunno if this is something which needs to be done in libburn or somewhere else? Lemme know. Cheers !

This is 0.5.90 version.

This stuff can be done without messing with the backends (cdrtools/libburn). It's a good idea for implementing in the future releases maybe under a preferences dialog.

Now in trunk, according to the type of project, the preferences (= drive properties button) are saved so that you can set, and save, different settings according to the type of project. That way you can set a different speed whether it's an audio, a data or an image project.

I think we can close this bug: everything you seem to require is in trunk and will be in 0.6.90 and further. It won't be of course in stable series 0.6.X but I guess it won't be long before next stable series comes out.
If it didn't fit your needs please feel free to reopen this bug.
