What were you doing when the application crashed? Started evolution. It was busy "Storing folder", presumably related to the previous crash. It got to 65% complete. Earlier I canceled a send/receive to check preferences to see why it is so dreadfully slow retrieving messages since upgrading from Fedora Core 6 to Fedora 7. It is now several orders of magnitude slower to retrieve messages. It continued to crash every time I started evolution after sending this report. I ended up removing the meta files for Inbox, and truncated the file to the first half, opened successfully, then added bits back (removing meta files again) until eventually I successfully opened my inbox. Unfortunately I didn't find a message that seemed to be causing the crash. I was hoping to find such a message and make it available.
I should have also mentioned that a subsequent retrieval of new mail was much faster, more along the lines of the previous version. I'll need to confirm when there is a reasonable amount of new mail to be retrieved.
