Description ssalevan 2007-05-30 15:38:58 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If a user attempts to listen to the included WKNC 88.1FM stream, Rhythmbox's playback will freeze between songs. The song title will be announced via the notification icon in the notification area, but the user must re-open the stream to be able to listen to it again.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Listen to the WKNC 88.1FM stream
2. Wait until a new song comes up
3. Observe results

Actual results:
New song title announced via Notification Icon in notification area, playback freezes

Expected results:
New song title announced via Notification Icon in notification area, playback does not freeze

Does this happen every time?
Yes

WKNC is only added as a default in the Fedora/RH packages, not upstream.
Still shouldn't do that though.
Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2007-05-30 15:42:43 UTC
That's the URLs for the station:
# http://www.wknc.org/listen.php
file1=http://wknc.org:8000/wknclq.ogg.m3u
title1=WKNC 88.1 FM (NC State) (Modem)
genre1=Music

file2=http://wknc.org:8000/wkncmq.ogg.m3u
title2=WKNC 88.1 FM (NC State) (Broadband)
genre2=Music

Which one were you using?
