Description Eduardo Lima (Etrunko) 2007-05-30 01:53:44 UTC
With the GNOME Mobile and Embedded initiative launched, we got a clear vison of witch GNOME components are being used by platforms based on it. From that list, gnome-vfs is included but bonobo is not.

This way, to be able to build libgsf under a GMAE environment, such as Maemo, Poky, OLPC and others (to come), we should figure out a way of not including the Bonobo bits in the build.

Patch to make bonobo opitional

With this patch applied, just run configure with --without-bonobo to not include the bonobo stuff in the build.

I'll add this for 1.14.4 with the understanding that bonobo is enabled by default to avoid ABI incompatibility. When we branch 1.15.x bonobo will move off into a libgsf-bonobo.

Thank You.
