Thanks for the bugreport :) Might be bug 338921
can't reproduce in version 2.21.3 probably this issue was fixed with bug#338921, so please close bug. While verifying this issue I found minor inconsistency in behavior: <Alt>+<Up> behaves in the same way as simple <Up> (goes one mail up) <Alt>+<Down> does nothing
Resolve bug as FIXED since it is not reproducable anymore.
