Description Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2007-05-18 19:00:29 UTC
This is a tracking bug for the following mozilla bug:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381119

Having done a little investigating, I think this is a dup of this other mozilla bug:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380976

But I'll leave it to Aaron and crew to decide that. The bottom line is that if it's a tree table and if it's in Firefox or Thunderbird and if you're using Firefox/Thunderbird from 9th May on, all bets are off.

Update: The Firefox guys have officially fixed both of the above bugs. Everything is now working as expected for me. Mike, however, is still having problems accessing the list of messages in Thunderbird. I cannot reproduce this, but I'm still investigating. In the meantime, I'm leaving this one open until I can get to the bottom of Mike's issue.
Comment 2 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2007-05-23 16:07:07 UTC
I'm not sure what I did to Thunderbird, but on one machine I can now reliably reproduce this issue; on the other machine I still cannot. Both machines have the latest Thunderbird and Orca and I *think* the settings/layout/etc. are the same.... Hmmmm....

I'm renaming this bug to reflect the problem we still have and will investigate more in a bit.

Removing target milestone from [blocked] bugs. We have little control over them, so we're better off letting priority and severity be our guide for poking the related components.

Update: On the machine where I was able to reproduce the issue, I no longer can. Mike are you still seeing this problem?
Comment 5 Mike Pedersen 2007-06-19 23:38:26 UTC
I can't either I'm going to close.
