Description Josselin Mouette 2007-05-09 08:09:47 UTC
[ forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/422918 by Martin Waitz ]

epiphany nicely automatically detects offline mode and shows a nice page
that the requested page is not available offline if it is not in the
cache.

As I always use wireless connections with my laptop it takes longer for
me to enter the passphrase to get connected to the network than epiphany
takes to generate this "not available" page. It is kind of frustrating
to switch to my browser workspace and having to reload every page
manually every time I log on.

Could epiphay remember which tabs are waiting for an active internet
connection and try to reload them once offline mode is left?
Thanks for your help!

I think this will be possible in gecko 1.9 with offline support.

This bug is still valid, also with the webkit backend. Perhaps the component field can be changed?

Don't have an offline mode anymore.
