The size of a selection is not displayed anywhere.
This is very useful, sometimes crucial, information that now are very hard to find out.
(I know that when you're using the selection tools the size is displayed, but once you release the tool you don't know the size of the selection.)
A good place to display this information could be in the Info window, possibly under the Cursor tab sincce we already have user input values there.
