GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 435520
crash in Evolution: I was reading an e-mail ...
Last modified: 2007-05-17 15:06:41 UTC
Version: 2.12.x What were you doing when the application crashed? I was reading an e-mail with an inline image--I think that I deleted the e-mail before it was able to completely draw the image, but am not sure. I've reported this before (within the last few days) and it's happened many more times than I've reported since then. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!
I've rebuilt garnome with -O2 -g for EVERYTHING. Here's a full backtrace for this problem: Distribution: Slackware Slackware 11.0.0 Gnome Release: 2.19.2 2007-05-16 (GARNOME) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.1 System: Linux 2.6.21.1 #59 SMP Mon Apr 30 11:14:00 EDT 2007 i686 X Vendor: The X.Org Foundation X Vendor Release: 60900000 Selinux: No Accessibility: Disabled GTK+ Theme: Gorilla Icon Theme: Gorilla Memory status: size: 280600576 vsize: 280600576 resident: 156844032 share: 30810112 rss: 156844032 rss_rlim: 4294967295 CPU usage: start_time: 1179413318 rtime: 857 utime: 771 stime: 86 cutime:23 cstime: 6 timeout: 0 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 100 Backtrace was generated from '/opt/gnome/bin/evolution-2.12' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
