Description Sven Arvidsson 2007-05-02 11:36:43 UTC
[ Forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/421576 ]

In 2.18, it's possible to add a custom application launcher to the panel with no icon.

The launcher is added to the panel, but is very hard to find, seemingly invisible to most users. It would be great if a default icon could be added, similar to the diamond icon used as default in Nautilus.

This is possibly related to bug 76495, but it seems to be specific to menu entries without icons.

it's similar to bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/102779

Vincent, according to the changelog entry written by Daniel the patch comes from you, not sure why it has not been commited upstream though. It works fine, attaching it to the bug then ;)

I fixed it another way, which is better :-)
