Description Vladimír Lapáček 2007-04-24 16:12:11 UTC
Sometimes, it would be useful to have a search function in gnome-terminal to go through the captured text output, especially when a running program generates a lot of debugging output. I know that in such case I should use tee or something similar, but you don't always know that when running a program.

The search function would spawn a pop up for entering the text and clicking on next and prev buttons would show you the occurrences by scrolling to them and highlighting them.

Regards,
Vladimir
