Description Edward Hervey 2007-04-24 09:36:09 UTC
We should have a windows port since gstreamer, python, gst-python, gtk all work on windows.

Ideally it should all be packed in a .exe

The elisa team have managed to do a port, they might have valuable information.

I also need decent Gstreamer build for Windows.
I found the nice Gstreamer installer for Windows here:
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=225389&package_id=272648&release_id=625609

Unfortunately, in this installation there are no plugins to play neither .mp3, .wav nor .ogg
I've tried mixing the current official GStreamer plugin builds (bad, good, ugly, ...) with that installer, butt his cause the gstreamer to crash on any operation.

I hope to have a working, recent Gstreamer for windows soon. I find it quite important.

Maybe this bug report should be marked a duplicate of bug #601982 now, which has a bunch of patches and lots of info?
