Description Ales Dolecek 2007-04-14 09:19:15 UTC
Hello,

I think it would be fine to have configuration option that would allow EOG to automatically rotate images according to EXIF "Orientation" field.

Maybe it can also be alternative to saving rotated images (as discused in #338138).

Ales

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. You may want to check for a software upgrade.

EXIF autorotation was introduced with the 2.17/2.18 releases.
It might be that you need to enable it in the preferences dialog ("Automatic orientation").
