Please describe the problem:
This is not really a bug.  In Excel when I cut a column and paste it between two full columns I am given the option to paste over a full column or insert cut (or copied) column into an empty column. A column is opened to the right of a full column and the other column is placed there.

This requires 2 steps in Gnumeric but only one in Excel.  Is there a way to do this in one step??  

I have yet to find one.

Steps to reproduce:
1.Fill 3 columns with different text,  cut or copy first or last column.
2.Paste column between other 2 columns in one step.
3.Show me how you did it.


Actual results:
In order to paste a column between 2 full columns I must first open a column between, then paste the column into the empty column.

Does this happen every time?
