Pretty straight forward.  If i don't feel like seeing the date something was
modified, or its icon, or...uh...its filename <shrug>...then i should be able to
change that, i think.  That would be handy :)

This feature already exists.

Edit -> Icon Captions...

We wouldn't ever remove the icon or file name.

This should've been filed in View as List (although maybe that component didn't
originally exist in bugzilla).  This may already be a separate bug though.
