Description Matt 2007-03-30 13:43:25 UTC
In some other image programs users are able to copy an image from some other program and when the user goes to the image program, creates File -> New the dimensions of the clipboard image are automatically populated for the new image's width and height.

This would be a great feature that seems pretty easy to implement.

Use Edit->Paste as New

I would close this NOTABUG, but it looks like I don't have access.

This is a duplicate - we did have this feature in the past and it has been removed because users got confused. See bug #315106.
