Currently thumbnail sizes can`t be adjusted unless you edit the nautilus source code. it would be good to have this setting in gconf.

i don`t have the c++ knowledge to improve this more. i hope that someone could make it a good patch.

I commited a different patch with support for thumbnail icon size.
The prefs for max icon size is just weird. Why would you want to lower that?
