AS far as i can tell nautilus doesn't view tar files, am i
wrong????...perhaps this should be changed and grouped with other
similar bugs into a new bug, implement archive view.

My mistake.

When we were first defining the 2.0 project, this was a feature at
the top of the list. Now it seems like we won't get to it.
